Duct Cleaning
Ducts / HVAC Cleaning

Dirty ducts and HVAC Systems can be a breeding ground for mold spores, bacteria, dust, pollen and other harmful deposits. Many different contaminants can accumulate over time.   Every day, your family breathes air that is continually re-circulated through this contaminated ductwork. The National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA) recommends to have your air ducts inspected every two years.  Depending on your location and the conditions within your home, air ducts need to be cleaned every four to eight years.

You should consider having the air ducts in your home cleaned if there is substantial visible mold growth inside hard surface (e.g., sheet metal) ducts or on other components of your heating and cooling system. "There are several important points to understand concerning mold detection in heating and cooling systems:

  • Many sections of your heating and cooling system may not be accessible for a visible inspection, so we will show you any mold that we say exists.

  • You should be aware that although a substance may look like mold, a positive determination of whether it is mold or not can be made only by a mold expert and may require laboratory analysis for final confirmation.

  • If you have insulated air ducts and the insulation gets wet or moldy it cannot be effectively cleaned and should be removed and replaced by a competent mold remediator.

  • If the conditions that caused the mold growth, in the first place, are not corrected, mold growth will recur.

  • In addition, if your ducts are infested with rodents or insects; or your ducts are filled with excessive amounts of dust and debris, you should consider having your ducts inspected and possibly cleaned.

America Air Care uses state-of-the-art air duct cleaning equipment and specialty tools which are designed to professionally clean both residential and commercial HVAC air duct systems faster and more efficiently. We follow the NADCA ACR 2006 Standard for the assessment, cleaning & restoration of HVAC systems. Our systems provide the customer with a real time Video Inspection System so the customer can watch the duct cleaning process as it is being performed.

      It's as easy as 1, 2, 3

    1. We clean the register covers to remove cooking oil film, nicotine film and other dust-collecting substances.
    2. We deep clean the source of the air supply including (where applicable) the blower, blower wheel, coils, condensation pan and return air supply.
    3. The air ducts are then brush-vacuumed clean with this exclusive, patented technology system.  The Rotobrush aiR+ system removes the contaminants that circulate through the air duct system. We will sanitize your air ducts and vents with an environmentally safe sanitizer commonly use in hospitals and nursing homes, leaving behind a fresh scent.

The Rotobrush is portable, but also powerful.  Its vacuum power makes it easier to remove even heavy build up seen in many air duct systems. The brush system rotates at 450 rpm to loosen debris from the insde walls of the air ducts. As it is loosened, the debris is then vacuumed up in the nozzle lcated behind the head of the brush.

The Rotobrush Pod design makes even the toughest work spaces easy to clean, as it is easily removed from the carrier to allow the technician to go into tight spaces such as attics and crawl spaces.

This combination ensures professionally cleaned  air ducts for you, our customers.
